I just finished the novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey.  I researched the books that we were given to read and this one seemed the most appealing. Also, both of my parents had read this book and recommended it to me.  I haven't seen the movie yet but I really enjoyed the book, even though it was hard to understand at times.

This sounds like a really depressing book, why did you choose this book instead of The Autobiography of Malcolm X?

How much do you want to bet the the name Ken Kesey is a pen name? I mean, who names their kid Ken nowadays?

I saw the movie in my Psychology class last semester. The plot is kind of twisted. The main character choose to be in a mental institution to avoid the labor he would have to do in jail. Well, I am going to stop spoiling the plot and let you finish the book.

I am glad that you are enjoying your summer reading as much as I am. I also enjoyed my book. Coincidence? I think not.

I almost chose this book to read because I really enjoyed the movie, but I ultimately chose the Jungle because it was something completely new. I would like to read the book someday though, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
